ReKPal reads your interview and scorecard data from Ashby so your team can see who still owes feedback, whether the panel agreed, and what should happen next for each candidate. It only reads. Nothing in Ashby is ever changed, moved or archived by ReKPal.
It takes about five minutes. You'll need an Ashby admin for the first step, because only admins can create API keys.
In Ashby, go to Admin → Integrations → API Keys and create a new key. If you switched ReKPal on from the Ashby marketplace, the right permissions are already ticked for you. Otherwise, give the key read access to:
Leave all the write permissions off. ReKPal doesn't need them, and a read-only key is the safer one to hand out. Copy the key before you close the window, since Ashby only shows it once.
Sign in to ReKPal and open Settings → Ashby. If you've just signed up, the guided setup takes you to the same screen. Paste the key and press Connect. ReKPal checks the key straight away and tells you if a permission is missing, so nothing turns up mysteriously empty later.
Open Settings → Sync and start a sync. The first one pulls your open applications, interview schedules and scorecards, and can take a few minutes on a large account. After that ReKPal keeps itself up to date in the background and only fetches what changed.
Nudges lists every candidate who has had an onsite and is still waiting on scorecards. It shows who hasn't submitted and how long it's been. If you've connected Slack, you can send the interviewer a reminder from there.
Calibration puts the whole panel's feedback side by side once it's in, so you can tell at a glance whether people agreed or split, and on what.
Decisions turns that into a next step for each candidate, including a draft email you can edit before it goes out. Those emails are sent from ReKPal, not from Ashby.
If your team works in Ashby all day, add the ReKPal Chrome extension. It puts the same boards in a side panel right next to the candidate you have open.
ReKPal only looks at candidates who have reached the onsite stage. Earlier stages don't appear.
A scorecard submitted in Ashby shows up in ReKPal on the next sync, usually within a minute.
If the API key is revoked or deleted in Ashby, syncing stops and the Sync page tells you. Your existing data stays until you remove the connection.
Get in touch through our contact page and include your organization name. A screenshot of the Sync page helps a lot if something looks off.
